Fall/Winter 2024 Design Story

Posted by Life.Church Admin on

The goods and apparel we create each season are intentionally made to tell one cohesive story. For the Fall/Winter 2024 line, our team found inspiration in God’s mission to make Earth more like heaven every day.

Followers of Jesus have a mission—to build God’s kingdom. How? Let’s learn from Jesus.

Jesus went from place to place telling people, “The kingdom of heaven is here!” But what did He mean? He wanted His followers to know that, through His intervention in history, our God has once again become king—His kingdom is coming to Earth, and everyone is invited in.

Through Jesus’ words and actions, He shows that His message is true. Wherever He goes, people find freedom from sin, healing from physical problems, and acceptance regardless of their past. In other words, His presence makes Earth more like heaven and expands God’s kingdom.

In one famous message, the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus explains what life is like in the kingdom of God. When you read through the sermon, you’ll notice that Jesus doesn’t tell His followers that the kingdom of God is just a future reality they’ll get to experience after they go to heaven. To Jesus, the kingdom of God is a current reality that we get to experience today. Not only that, but Jesus gives all of His followers the responsibility of joining Him in building God’s kingdom every day.

Just read this small section of the sermon in which Jesus taught His followers how to pray.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 NIV

Jesus launched the kingdom on Earth and invited everyone to be a part of continuing His work. How? We can do this by remembering God’s love for us and those around us, representing God’s kingdom through our words and actions, and sharing the good news of God’s loving forgiveness whenever we get the chance.

The apparel we’ve created this season is for anyone who wants to remember their calling as a hand-picked representative of God’s kingdom. We hope that it builds your faith and provides you with opportunities to share the hope of Jesus with others.
