The goods and apparel we create each season are intentionally made to tell one cohesive story. For the Spring/Summer 2024 line, our team found inspiration in God’s encouraging presence that calls us to a lifetime of pursuing Him.
Following Jesus isn’t easy, but when life gets hard, we can find strength in God’s Word, God’s presence, and God’s people.
Every day we’re invited to continue pursuing Jesus through making others-focused choices like forgiving our enemies or giving to people in need. It’s a challenging way of life, but it’s worth it. Because every time we choose to live and love like Jesus, earth becomes a little more like heaven.
Run the Race
This is why the Bible compares the Christian life to a race we get to run. Just like running, becoming more like Jesus takes effort. We can’t do any work to be accepted or forgiven by God—that’s a free gift to be accepted—but we do need to put effort into becoming more like Jesus every day, now that we’re following Him.
So ask God every day to show you how He’s inviting you to run the race today. Who’s someone you know who needs hope? Who in your neighborhood might need a resource you can provide?
Soar Like Eagles
While following Jesus can be challenging, it’s also life-giving. The Bible compares following God with soaring like an eagle:
Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 NLT
Running the race is living the life we were called to live. As we follow Jesus and spend time with Him, He keeps filling us back up. We’re strengthened by His life-giving presence.
And best of all, we’re not running the race alone. We get to run the race alongside our global Church family. Together, we get to make a difference, encourage one another, and share the good news of Jesus all over the world.
